| Description |
English: I staked out a spot at the front of the stage for the Hidden Cameras, with a good few dozen others... but eventually I realised the stage was running late, as there was no sign of the band, and went to get some food. While I was in the queue for Gopal's, word started to go round that the main stage had lost power, and the remaining acts would be moved to the indoor stage, with Edwyn Collins at 9:30 and the Hidden Cameras at 11 – the DJ set from Little League sadly got shunted out of the way for them.
With hindsight therefore, I could have gone to see Chris T-T (apparently the queue for the church was manageable) – I'd been delighted when I heard he'd been booked for the festival, and very disappointed to see he clashed with the Hidden Cameras. Tough call, but I had to go with the Canadian band not least because I get fewer chances to see them. I heard from several people that Chris was ace, but I missed him. Bum. |
