Description
English: Mahasthangarh is the earliest urban archaeological sites discovered thus far in Bangladesh. Like a reasure house, Mahasthan Archaeological Museum is enriched with many valuable heritage and artifacts. It is a World Heritage Site.
বাংলা: মহাস্থানগড় বাংলাদেশের অন্যতম প্রাচীন পুরাকীর্তি। যিশু খ্রিষ্টের জন্মেরও আগে অর্থাৎ প্রায় আড়াই হাজার বছর পূর্বে এখানে সভ্য জনপদ গড়ে উঠেছিল। বুদ্ধের বেশকিছু প্রাচীন মূর্তি এখানে পাওয়া গেছে। এটি বিশ্ব ঐতিহ্য হিসাবে স্বীকৃত।
