Summary
[edit]DescriptionThe northern coast of Read's Island, River Humber (geograph 4659320).jpg |
English: The northern coast of Read's Island, River Humber, Lincolnshire, England. The island has got a lot smaller in recent years. There is still a herd of deer on it - just visible at the left hand [east] end of the hedge. Seen from the barge Sobriety, heading downstream on a falling tide. The barge is part of the Yorkshire Waterways Museum's collection. Location verified by reference to the current position of light float 32A. |
