Description Another perspective of the long line of monks who are walking down the street collecting alms and giving the faithful the opportunity to make merit. The faithful are seen lining the sidewalk with almost all of them sitting. The chap standing is not one of the givers. Note also the tourists taking pictures on the other side, the street side. Although the road is not closed to traffic at this time, there is not much traffic at that early hour, just past 06:00, so the tourists (and the traffic) do not generally get in the way of each other.(Luang Prabang, Laos/ Lao PDR, April 2014)
