Українська: Українська: Метелик живе по всій території України, має розмах крил 55-60 мм. Крила білі з темним напиленням по краях. На передніх крилах самок є дві чорні круглі плями. У самця є схожі плями на нижній стороні передніх крил. Середовище проживання це великі відкриті простори, ферми, городи через доступність джерел їжі. Джерело харчування як дикі, так і культивовані хрестоцвіті, олійний ріпак, капуста та брюссельську капуста. Завдяки швидкому розвитку, що становить 26-32 дні протягом року існує 2-4 покоління метеликів.
English: The butterfly lives throughout the territory of Ukraine, the butterfly has a wingspan of 55-60 mm. The wings are powder-white with dark dusting on the edges. There are two black round spots on the front wings of females. The male has similar spots only on the underside of the front wings.Its habitat is large open spaces, farms, gardens due to the availability of food sources. The food source is both wild and cultivated cruciferous vegetables, oilseed rape, cabbage and Brussels sprouts. Due to the rapid development, which is 26-32 days during the year, there are 2-4 generations English: Pieris brassicae (the large white, cabbage butterfly, cabbage white) on the flowers of showy stonecrop (Hylotelephium spectabile) |
