Summary
[edit]DescriptionThe haar rolls in over East Lothian - geograph.org.uk - 474723.jpg |
English: The haar rolls in over East Lothian View northwest from the top of Traprain Law on the longest day. It was taken about 9:30 at night and the haar (scottish word for mist) was rolling in off the Firth of Forth. The shadows of the trees were really long.
The Law has been occupied/used from Neolithic times, through the Bronze age(when it was used for burials), Iron ages up through Roman to about 5th century AD. There are remains of an ancient fort on the top. |
