English: The former Hawstead Village School Hawstead Village School was built in 1845 by the Church authorities and closed shortly after the Second World War. It is now a private residence. The building has a 'Y' shape; the 'tail' contained the single classroom and the other two arms comprised the school teacher's accommodation. |
