Deutsch: Gänsegeier (Gyps fulvus) im Flug über das Karmelgebirge, Naturschutzgebiet Chai Bar Karmel, in Israel. English: Griffon vulture (Gyps fulvus) in flight over mount Carmel in Israel. Photographed at Hai-Bar Nature Reserve at International Vulture Day. Lack of rings and tags at this time of year (while there is still no migrating population mixed in) implies that this one was born this spring and wasn't yet caught, ringed, and tagged by ornithologists.
