Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Me and Ingrid at Burro Canyon. I have a Benelli M4 semi-automatic shotgun and Ingrid is shooting a Ruger M77 bolt-action rifle in .223. We are both shooting at water jugs about 90 yards away (the shotgun is loaded with slugs).

Ingrid's stance is what she learned at Project Appleseed and is pretty good, but can be improved. The top of her right foot should be against the ground instead of her toes; and she should have the flat of her elbow on her knee instead of the point. Ingrid has her right arm out and up, as has been taught to generations of US soldiers and Marines. By contrast, my arm is tucked in more, a "tactical" configuration I have begun to use with shotguns, and a bit more fashionable these days. My left leg is probably too close to my body.

The rifle is lying lightly on Ingrid's open support hand. She's not using the sling because it is too long (it's not her rifle).
