The duty of preachers explained and stated; and prov'd to consist in their endeavouring, as much as possible, by Persuasion and Instruction, to promote the Practice of Universal Charity, upon the great Principles of a Pure Heart, and of a Good Conscience, and of Faith unfeigned. In a Sermon Preach'd before the University of Oxford, in Merton-College Chappel, May the First, 1721. By Richard Meadowcourt, M. A. Fellow of Merton-College. Publish'd at the Desire of several Gentlemen that heard it.
