Description
English: In front is the Tramway Bridge built in 1823, turned into a footbridge in the early 20th century and given Grade II listing in 1951.

Behind is the much older Clopton Bridge built around 1484 and widened in 1811. It carries the A3400, originally the A34 trunk route from Southampton to Manchester. The late autumn scene is viewed from the Royal Shakespeare Theatre's tower.

The photographer was at 32m (105ft) above ground level for this shot.
