Summary
[edit]DescriptionThe World's verdict on Germany, 1918.jpg |
English: This is a poster published in 1918 by the British firm Wyman and Sons. It shows the flags of the Allied nations of the World War I arranged in three groups according to each country's judgment of Germany 's responsibility for the war: the countries that took up the original challenge in August, 1914 in the left, the countries that found Germany a menace and joined the Entente in the center, and the countries that severed diplomatic relations in the right. Text says that in the defeat of German militarism alone lies the hope of a stable peace. |
