Summary
[edit]DescriptionThe Ulster Folk Museum (37) - geograph.org.uk - 616581.jpg |
English: The Ulster Folk Museum (37). See 616556. The original houses were built in 1884 and were typical of the area in architecture and in that they housed employees of the many industries in the area. This row is a replica of Cluan Place, Belfast.
When in the process of taking this photo I was interrupted by two attendants who explained that they had been sent to see why I was taking photographs and who they were for. It seems that the Museum's policy is to charge professional photographers. Since my camera was supported on a battered 8-year old tripod I was a "professional". Receiving a reply in the negative they went off to report their findings. |
