The submarine,after taking in supplies from the Germaninterned ship Roma, left within twenty-foiu*hours, and having thus established the right ofGerman under-water craft to use neutral ports,proceeded to sink a number of vessels in theMediterranean. On July 6 the GermanAdmiralty announced her safe return toGermany, and added that in the course of thecruise she had sunk the French armed steamerHerault.
