Summary
[edit]DescriptionThe Shadow Tower, Capitol Complex, Chandigarh.jpg |
English: Le Corbusier constructed this Tower to prove his knowledge about the direction of The Sun. It has been constructed in such a way that not even a single ray of sun enters inside it from any angle(specifically in summers). The North side of this tower remains open because Sun never comes in this direction. He used the principle used in building this tower in constructing the other buildings of The Capitol Complex as well. |
