Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The Regent Cinema building was completed in 1947 and at the time was the largest cinema outside of Sydney. It seated 999 people and had an upper floor called the "dress circle" and the lower stalls as two separate levels. Today the dress circle level remains functional with the lower level planned to be restored as a film production company showcasing local and international artists and culture.
