English: The Polish Army in the United Kingdom 1940-47 The first step in the training of parachutists is the correct way to land. At this Polish Parachute Training Centre at Largo House, Fifeshire, soldiers of the 1st Polish Independent Parachute Brigade are seen receiving their initial instruction in landing. From this they carry on through the various stages of the course to energe finally as fully fledged paratroops. |
