English: The Lifeboat bar, Belfast. Dating from the early 20s the "minimalist" Lifeboat bar, in Queen's Square, seems to have escaped the architectural guidebooks. Just under 1,000 sq ft, it was reported sold for a substantial figure. It is likely to be replaced by a new building containing a bar/restaurant, offices and apartments. The hoardings on the left hide 570227. |
