Summary

[edit]
Description The Columbia river separates the states of Oregon and Washington (across the river from this viewpoint). It actually arises in British Columbia, Canada, where it originally heads north! It then makes a giant U-turn and heads south to the US, and eventually west to the sea. It is the 4th largest river in the United States.
