Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The Eildon Mid Hill Indicator. The summit of the highest of the Eildon Hills (422m) is marked by a trig point and a toposcope, the Geographica Indicator of the Eildon Hills. The indicator was erected in 1927 at a cost of £140, raised by public subscription. For more details of the indicator see 565633. Viewed in late January with fog in the valleys below that lingered all day in the towns of Melrose and Galashiels.
