Is death but cold, sound-proof ground And nothing more? That which cuts off love and pain, and brings not peace But nothing more? Is death like un-birth, nothing, And nothing more? Which stops the symphonic melodies and Words which opt a thought or question? Questions which question the nothing to come Past death… and the nothing more? Is death an end or just an answer? A thought which stops the need for more? A topic, a goal, a justice which all look for? The dead will never ask and never know, They care no more, nor do they woe.
