Description
English: The Cut This shot is taken from the sluice gates where The Cut joins the River Aire. The Cut is a short stretch of canal constructed to facilitate the transportation of limestone from quarries north and east of Fairburn to the River Aire. The Cut now forms part of the nature reserve at Fairburn.
