English: Still from the American mountaineering documentary film The Crystal Ascension (1923), on page 14 of the December 15, 1923 Exhibitors Trade Review. Caption: "Mount Hood, one of the grandest mountains of the West, is so difficult to climb that is seemed impossible for Pathé to utilize its beauties for the filming of their production. They solved the problem by sending out their cast and staff on foot."
