Summary
[edit]DescriptionThe Conservators of the River Thames - geograph.org.uk - 609806.jpg |
English: The Conservators of the River Thames A boundary marker with those words round the edge and a crest in the middle, about 10 yards back from the bank. These markers were common to denote the edge of the responsibility of the River Thames Conservancy. This one may be here because the location is also the recent boundary between Reading and Oxfordshire following an old parish boundary. |
