The essential properties possessed by -Listerine are analogous in their effect to the ozoniferousethers so highly recommended by Sir Benjamin Ward Richardson, and others, as deodorizers for thesick-room, and Listerine is used in the same way—sprinkled over handkerchiefs, garments, and bedlinen, or diffused throughout the atmosphere by means of the spray apparatus. Listerine is admirableto introduce in the sponging and bathing that may be directed in fever eases.
