English: The Canadian Expeditionary Force on the Western Front, 1915-1918

Humorous photograph of Canadian troops with captured German equipment. Sergeant on the left is forcing his colleague to eat a potato (?) at the gun point. He is holding a German Luger pistol and the soldier on the right created a little peak of sand on the top of his helmet to imitate a pickelhaube.
