Pandanus tectorius is a species of Pandanus (screwpine) that is native to Malesia, Papuasia, eastern Australia, and the Pacific Islands.

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Pandanus tectorius - Pari Island, Kepulauan Seribu, Jakarta Indonesia. This Pandanus grows in the coastal lowlands typically near the edge of the ocean. If these plants are exposed to intense sunlight for long periods, they can develop sunburn or brown spots on their leaves. They can also become dehydrated if the soil dries out too quickly in full sunlight.
