Description |
English: The Breaking up of the San Josef, in 1849. She ended her career on harbour duty at Plymouth where she was broken up in 1849.
Watercolour attributed to Clarkson Stanfield (not known to have been at Plymouth in 1849). More likely to be Nicholas Condy or his son Nicholas Matthew, who were both local Plymouth marine specialists. |
