Brendon Bowlin, 1st Platoon of the 338th Quartermaster Field Service Company, checks valves to the pumps and water heaters as part of the shower system provided by 338th in support of units participating in Vibrant Response 14. Vibrant Response is a Defense Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Response Force (DCRF) training event. The exercise focuses on Department of Defense support of civil authorities in a consequence management role. The DCRF is a part of DOD’s scalable response capability to assist civilian responders in saving lives, relieving, human suffering and providing critical support and community recovery following a catastrophic CBRN incident. |
