| Description |
English: The 12th hole at Galashiels Golf Course. This is the approach to the 12th green on this par 4 hole with golfers ahead on the 13th hole. They are playing in a competition (01/03/08) on the course as an 18 hole layout for the final time, as holes 10 to 16 are to be closed. For an explanation of this closure, see 716199. Most of the second nine holes are on the top of Blaikie's Hill, with the highest part of the course at the 300m contour, and although it is a steep climb to reach here, it is well worth the effort for the views over the town and Border valleys. However, on a very windy day like this, it can prove challenging to the best of players. |
