Summary
[edit]DescriptionTh Milky Way from Saint Barthelemy, Valle d'Aosta, Italy.jpg |
English: The Milky Way is a spiral galaxy which contains around 200 billions of stars. The Sun and the Solar System are inside one of the spiral arms of the Milky way, that is the Orion's Arm, in the plane of the disk of the Galaxy. For this reason, we can't see our Milky Way from the outside, but only its densest part, that is the stars in the plane of the Milky Way. |
