English: Théâtre français, located on rue Sainte-Catherine Est in Downtown Montreal, Canada, changed names multiple times (Billy Moore's Lyceum, Loew's Court Theatre, Théâtre français for a second time, Éros cinéma, Métropolis, and MTELUS), served different functions (as an ice skating rink, summer theatre, theatre, cinema, adult movie theatre, nightclub, and music venue), and had various owners (Loew's, United Amusement Corporation, Famous Players, and L'Équipe Spectra) since its inception in 1884. It became live music venue MTELUS on 17 September 2017. |
