Description
Théâtre de Dionysos, vu depuis l'Acropole. - Cette vue du théâtre en contre-plongée permet d'apprécier le dallage à motifs géométriques de l'orchestra et nous montre l'état d'avancement des fouilles qui ont débuté en 1838. La photographie a probablement été prise en 1864 lors des travaux de déblaiement du théâtre par la Société Archéologique Grecque, après le départ de l'architecte allemand J.H.Strack en 1862.
