Español: El Tetraedro Leonardiano Especial representa la segunda Estelación del Tetraedro.
Fabriquemos un tetraedro regular plano que posea una cara imaginaria como base piramidal. Las aristas de este tetraedro regular miden 3 Cm. Luego preparamos tres polígonos irregulares en forma de triángulos isósceles, donde dos catetos midan 3 Cm. Inmediatamente procedemos a unir las tres caras triangulares isósceles, a las tres aristas que se unen en el vértice intermedio, que está en posición opuesto, a la cara triangular imaginaria del tetraedro regular. Al terminar este procedimiento tenemos como resultado, el tetraedro Leonardiano especial. El tetraedro Leonardiano especial pertenece al conjunto de las pirámides huecas de Leonardo, siendo la misma una pirámide hueca triangular de Leonardo. Posee 12 caras triangulares interiores y 6 aristas intermedias para un total de 18 aristas. Además ostenta 4 vértices interiores y 4 vértices intermedio para un total de 8 vértices. Si aplicamos las fórmula para poliedros triangulares del inventor Dominicano Jose Joel Leonardo C=2L+2, V=L+3, A=3L+3, L=5. Con el conjunto de vértices intermedios del tetraedro Leonardiano especial se define perfectamente un tetraedro regular convexo, pero con un vértice interior y tres vértices intermedios de una de las caras imaginaria del tetraedro Leonardiano especial se define perfectamente un tetraedro irregular convexo. El tetraedro Leonardiano especial, forma internamente 4 tetraedro irregulares convexo. El tetraedro Leonardiano especial fue creado el primero de mayo 2010 por el dominicano, Jose Joel Leonardo. |
