Chess career. Tervel Serafimov started to deal with chess at early age under the direction of his father Dimitar Serafimov – fide master. In 1994 he became a candidate master of sport in chess, and in 1998 - master of sport. In 1996, at age 17 became national champion of Bulgaria in chess for young people up 20 years and presents your country at the World Chess Championship for boys and girls to 20 years in the city of Medellin, Colombia. In 1997 he was vice-champion of France in chess for young people up 20 years. In 1998 he was vice-champion of Bulgaria in chess for young people up 20 years. In 1999, debuted at Chess Championship for men in Bulgaria. Participate for the second time in 2007 Currently compete for chess clubs: * Colmar Echecs - Colmar, France; * Buchen - Buhen (Odenwald), Germany; * Reichenstein - Rainah (Basel Land), Switzerland.
