Foi discutido na Câmara dos Deputados do Brasil, por meio de Comissão Especial, o projeto de lei 7.672/2010 estabelecendo o direito de crianças e adolescentes serem educados sem o uso de castigos físicos ou de tratamento cruel ou degradante. Texto substitutivo ao projeto, elaborado pela relatora Deputada Federal Teresa Surita, foi aprovado na Comissão Especial possibilitando seu envio para discussão no Senado Federal.

It was discussed in the Chamber of Deputies of Brazil, through a Special Committee, the bill 7.672/2010 establishing the right of children and adolescents be educated without the use of corporal punishment or cruel or degrading treatment. Replacement text for the project, prepared by rapporteur Mrs Teresa Surita, was approved at a Special Committee permitting its submission for discussion in the Senate.

Se discutió en la Cámara de Diputados de Brasil, a través de un Comité Especial, el proyecto de ley 7.672/2010 que establece el derecho de los niños, niñas y adolescentes sean educados sin el uso de castigos corporales o tratos crueles o degradantes. Reemplazo de texto para el proyecto, preparado por el ponente, la señora Teresa Surita, fue aprobado en la Comisión Especial permitiendo su presentación para el debate en el Senado.
