English: Visual depiction of the taxometric procedure of Coherent Cut Kinetics as applied to a latent taxon with a population base rate of 30%. The "hitmax" interval is depicted with vertical dotted lines. Paul Meehl assisted with developing this technique (Meehl PE, 1995)
