It was extremely difficult to image this object in such a way that the typical blue-ish glow in the background came out enough to make the dark clouds "float".
Italiano: La Nube molecolare del Toro 1 (TMC-1), porzione della più estesa Nube del Toro-Auriga, è tra le regioni di formazione stellare più studiate e vicine al Sistema solare. Visibile al centro dell'immagine la nebulosa a riflessione IC 2087. Con delle note è riportata anche la denominazione delle stelle più luminose presenti nell'immagine.
