Summary
[edit]DescriptionTattersall (red and green), offset, zoomed out.png |
English: This is red-and-green-on-white example of the tattersall pattern, one of the simplest forms of tartan/plaid (consisting of thin, evenly spaced lines of two colours on a third ground colour). Tattersall is heavily used in the fashion industry, for shirts, bedding, and other materials.
This version of the image is not just full-sett and cannot tile horizontally or vertically. This offset zoom-out is for comparison to other patterns given similar treatment. This is an asymmetric (non-mirroring) sett. The threadcount, in "..." notation, is ...W100 R20 W100 G20... (and I used "crimson" and "dark blue green" for this particular render, just for kicks). |
