Description
English: U.S. Army Soldiers with Task Force Ever Vigilant, U.S. Air Force pilots and crew members, Kosovo Police, and Kosovo Security Forces help U.S.-affiliated Afghans after their arrival at the Pristina International Airport in Kosovo on Oct. 16, 2021. During their temporary stay at Camp Liya, Afghan families receive housing, medical, and logistical support from Task Force Ever Vigilant, consisting of Soldiers from the 15th Engineer Battalion and the 18th Military Police Brigade of the 21st Theater Sustainment Command. These units quickly deployed to Kosovo in August to assist and coordinate with U.S. Embassy, Pristina, while Afghans were processed before approval for resettlement in the United States.
