Description
English: Tarakund Mahadev is a Temple of Loard Shiva and Mata Tara, situated in 'Dudhatoli Forest Range' near to the Badeth village of Dhijyuli Patti, Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand a state of India. It is believed that Mata Tara wife of 'Kishkindha naresh' Bali (The Ramayana Character and Place) did penance for atonement there after death of 'Bali'. She used to bath in lake and a well situated behind the temple by which this place is called 'Tarakund'. 'Kund' means well.
