English: The Tannoike Kouen ( 丹野池公園 たんのいけこうえん, Tannoike Park or Tanno Pond Park) is an agricultural reservoir completed in 1957 on a gentle hill leading to the Makinohara Plateau in the eastern part of Kikugawa City[1], Shizuoka Prefecture. It covers an area of 5.3 hectares and stores about 230,000 tons of water. In 1968, about 53 hectares including the surrounding mountains were designated as a prefectural natural park.
The pond is a perfect place to experience the nature of the four seasons, such as a circulation road where you can take a walk while enjoying the scenery reflected on the surface of the water, a suspension bridge over a valley, and a wooden deck. ..
