Summary
[edit]DescriptionTanker, River Barrow near New Ross - geograph.org.uk - 1726985.jpg |
English: Tanker, River Barrow near New Ross. The River Barrow is a broad waterway navigable by seagoing ships almost as far as the O'Hanrahan Bridge 14533 in the centre of New Ross. This view shows the coastal tanker "Galway Fisher", outbound near Pink Point, passing very close to the western bank of the river. "Very close" means close enough to exchange greetings with the crew - without raising your voice. |
