Description
English: Built in 1926, this Beaux Arts-style building was designed by Kerr and Pettit to house the Chinese musical society and retail spaces. The building features a facade with a stepped parapet, cartouche supporting an angled flagpole, doric pilasters, three-over-one double-hung windows with decorative blind arch panels above, two first floor retail spaces, and a central entryway to the second floor featuring a decorative surround with two doric pilasters, decorative brackets, and triglyphs. The building is a contributing structure in the Chinatown Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.
