English: Tainan Five Princess Temple (五妃廟) was rebuilt by the conqueror of Qing Dynasty to expand the modest tomb of his victims. The "five" slain themselves for their martyr husband, King Ning-Jing, the last of the Ming Dynasty. The sunlit vaulted a natural frame for this door at the side of the temple, and brought together the space between both ends.
