Description
English: Tachyon visualization. Since that object moves faster then speed of light we can not see it approaching. Only after a tachyon has passed nearby, we could see two images of the tachyon, appearing and departing in opposite directions. The black line is the shock wave of Cherenkov radiation. It is shown only in one moment at time.
Русский: Визуализация тахиона. Из-за движения со скоростью больше световой, тахион невидим, когда он движется навстречу наблюдателю. Только когда тахион пройдет мимо, наблюдатель увидит два удаляющихся изображения тахиона. Черная линия соответствует фронту черенковского излучения. В анимации тахион показан только в один момент времени, когда он достиг наблюдателя в вершине угла.
Français : visualisation d'un Tachyon. Comme cette particule se déplace à une vitesse supérieure à celle de la lumière, on ne pourrait pas le voir arriver. Après son passage, on pourrait voir deux images du tachyon, s'éloignant dans des directions opposées. La ligne noire est l'onde de choc de l'effet Tcherenkov, dont on a seulement représenté l'état à un moment donné.
