Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The male differs drastically in appearance from the female. In particular it is generally black with just a couple of lighter spots on the dorsal surface of the abdomen and its eyes practically cover the head; ie it is holoptic. In this photograph the division of the eye into an upper region with larger and a lower region with smaller ommatidia is visible.
