Western Brook Pond, Gros Morne National Park, Newfoundland. "Green Triangle (Let Me Know the Truth)". Landslides are not an uncommon occurrence on Western Brook Pond - in the first decade of the 20th Century, there was one big enough to cause a 100-foot (30m) tsunami within the lake - and, in many places along the edge of the water, you'll find piles of rocky detritus and soil that can sustain hardy vegetation. It's an interesting contrast to the sheer, denuded face of the rock walls. Étang Western Brook, Parc national du Gros-Morne, Terre-Neuve. «Triangle vert (Me laisser savoir la vérité)». Les glissements de terrain ne sont pas des événements rares à l'étang Western Brook - pendant la première décennie du XXe siècle, il y en avait un qui était assez grande pour causer un tsunami dans le lac de 30 mètres d'hauteur - et, à des nombreux endroits le long de la rive, on trouve des tas de détritus rocheux et des sols qui peuvent soutenir de la végétation rustique.
