Description Lockheed TO-1 Shooting Star fighters of the only U.S. Navy fighter squadron that became operational for a short time, VF-52 Knightriders, in flight near San Diego, California (USA), in 1948. The TO-1 was a U.S. Air Force F-80C and was redesignated TV-1 in 1950.
