Description
English: U.S. Army scouts from Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 3rd Battalion, 509th Infantry Regiment, Task Force Spartan, pile into a small room to rest for a few hours after walking through the night, in minus 4-degree temperatures, from Forward Operating Base Gardez into the city of Gardez, Feb. 16. The room, which was heated by a small wood-burning stove, was provided to them by the local Afghan Uniformed Police at the police headquarters building.
